The entrance to the castle is free of charge, however there is a cafe there, which restricts sightseeing. Open till 9 p.m.

Driving down the road no 94 from Środa Śląska to Wrocław, after covering around 6 km you have to turn left for Miękinia. There turn right to Wojnowice (Mrozowa St.), and in Mrozów turn left to Wojnowice (the signpost for the castle). After driving out from the forest on the right side by the road a brick gate stands, beyond which among the trees the castle is hidden.

A former name: Wohnwitz
The village Wojnowice appears in the historical sources already in the XIIIth cent. That is not however a significant estate then. Starting from the XVIth cent. the situation is subject to change. The Schewitz family, of the bughers of Wrocław, begins the building of the brick castle in Wojnowice in 1513, which in the years of 1537-1576 the Boner family finish off. The further fate of the building is unknown, however it has preserved in its entirety up to this day.
