As to reach the palace you must set out from Skierniewice down the road no 70 to Łowicz. On the way you drive past Bełchów and you enter Nieborów. Around 200 m behind the board with the name of the place, at a sharp turn of the road no 70 to the left, you have to drive to the right for Bolimów. After covering 100 m, on the right side of the road there is an entrance to the palace.
Historical outline:
The palace in Nieborów was raised in 1694 at the place of the XVIth century manor. The builder of the palace was a cardinal Michał Stefan Radziejowski, who bought the neighboring lands from the Nieborowski family. After the death of Radziejowski, the palace was changing hands very often, who, as it usually tended to be with those kinds of buildings, were making constructional conversions very often as well. Since 1945 the palace is a department of the National Museum in Warsaw.
