Driving directions:Setting out from Krasnystaw down the road no 812 towards Chełm you drive past a place Krupe I (because that is a full name). There it is enough to keep driving down the main road so as to in a moment spot the ruins of the castle on the left side.
Historical outline:Krupe was in the Middle Ages a hub of fortune of Krupski house of Korczak coat of arms. They possessed their castle here, traces of which were as yet not found. At the end of the XVIth cent. they built a defensive mansion, which was extended in the years of 1604-1608. However, less than 50 years later the construction was demolished during the war with Swedes. The register from 1665 mentions that just two rooms were suitable for living. The castle was rebuilt but on the account of often changes of the owners, at the end of the XVIIIth cent. it was in a pitiful state again. Final destructions of the mansion were made by the warfare of the World War I and II.
