Driving directions:
Driving down the road no 292 from Bytom Odrzański to Głogów, after covering 6 km you must turn left towards "Dwór w Czernej" according to the indication of the signpost. Then cross the main, asphalt road straight on and reach the mansion down the stony road.
Historical outline:
Customarily it has caught on to call the building in Czerna a castle, however it is definitely a defensive mansion built in 1558 by Jan Lindner. In 1725 the mansion was reconstructed and since then it became a tradition. At least once an every century serious construction works were carried out there, signs of which are visible in the interior. Abruptly ending, kind of cut off arches, bricked up doors or notches in the wooden beams prove it explicitly. A present owner is restoring the mansion to its former glory.
